CARE INSTRUCTIONS
We would never want to see your SMG pieces get damaged or lose their quality. To keep your items looking fresh and lasting longer, please take a moment to carefully read and follow the care instructions below.
HI VIS TEES / SINGLETS
WASHING:
- Cold wash on a gentle setting, separately from regular clothing to prevent colour transfer.
- Avoid using harsh chemicals like bleach and fabric softener to prevent damage to fabric and reflective tape.
- For stubborn stains, gently wipe with a clean, dry cloth and a mild stain remover.
- Turn clothing inside out before washing to protect the reflective tape.
DRYING:
- Line dry or use the “no heat” setting on your dryer if needed to prevent shrinkage and/or damage to the fabric and reflective tape.
- Avoid direct sunlight, as UV rays can fade the fluorescent colours.
BEANIES
HAND WASHING:
Handwashing is the best way to clean your beanie without damaging the embroidered logo.
- Fill a bowl or sink with cold or lukewarm water (NOT HOT).
- Add a mild detergent, one made for delicate items is best.
- gently dip your beanie in the water and move it around with your hands.
- Avoid scrubbing the logo or embroidery.
- Rinse with cool water until the soap is all gone.
- Press gently to remove excess water, DON'T ring or twist.
- Lay flat on a clean towel to dry, reshaping while still damp.
WASHING MACHINE (IF NEEDED):
- Place beanies inside a mesh laundry bag or pillowcase to protect the embroidery.
- Avoid using harsh chemicals that can damage the beanie, use a mild detergent.
- Use a delicate or gentle cycle with cold water.
- Wash with similar, dark coloured items.
- Set the spin cycle to low or skip all together.
DRYING:
- Never use a tumble dryer, as high heat can shrink the beanie and damage the neon thread.
- DO NOT ring or twist the beanie to remove water, as this destroys its shape.
- Gently press out excess water, then lay it flat on a clean towel to air dry. Reshape the beanie while still damp.
KEYCHAINS
CLEANING PROCESS:
- Remove the keychain from your keys.
- Mix a few drops of mild dish soap into a bowl of lukewarm water.
- Dip a soft-bristled toothbrush or cotton swab into the soapy water and gently scrub the metal and coloured logo areas to remove buildup.
- Rinse the keychain thoroughly under lukewarm running water to remove all soap residue.
- Pat the keychain dry immediately with a soft, lint-free microfibre cloth to prevent water spots.
